An experiential art piece stands, embodying the sin of gluttony through a striking visual metaphor. This installation symbolizes society's insatiable appetite for information and media, depicted by tentacles engulfed in folded newspapers—each representing consumed data.

At its core, a black hole signifies the relentless pull of mindless consumption. The sprawling tentacles wrap around its surroundings, reflecting the overwhelming nature of the modern data gluttony. Crafted from repurposed aluminium frames and adorned with discarded newspapers and fabrics, Its textured surface mirrors the bits of information that feed its growth, capturing the essence of a world consumed by data. This piece invites reflection on our collective overindulgence in the digital age—a captivating critique of our information-saturated existence.

I played the role of concept artist and executionist with a team of 20 students to bring this concept to life, and "DataGlut" emerged in over 36 hours.
